ABOUT LEAPIN' LEPRECHAUNS
Leapin' Leprechauns is a game in the style of the Endless Jumper genre. To play, you move your leprechaun along a vertical path by jumping with each 'spin'. Successfully making it from one platform to the next results in prizes being awarded. Of course, there are obstacles in the way that may prevent your leprechaun for making it all the way to the top. This particular game offers a maximum of five jumps per game. This is another take on the original Rainbow Riches which has a standard set of reels and bonus features.
GAMEPLAY
Gameplay is relatively simple. Set your wager for the jump and then click the 'Jump' button on the right of the screen. This button is the largest of the three and is situated in the centre of the column.
With each jump, your leprechaun will move from one platform to another. Upon landing, he may uncover a Prize, a Power-Up, an Obstacle, or an empty platform.
PRIZES
Leapin' Leprechauns offers three different Prize options. The Cash Prize pays out anywhere between 0.5 and 100 times the total wager for that jump. The other three prizes are as follows:
4-leaf clover – awards the 'small' prize
Coin – awards the 'medium' prize
Rainbow – awards the 'large' prize (Jackpot Pot of Gold).
The obstacles in Leapin' Leprechauns are the cobra, black cat, cracked mirror, cracked platform and the number '13'.
POWER-UPS
There are four different power-ups that all have different functions. A power-up eliminates obstacles and extends the life of your leprechaun in order to continue playing beyond the initial five jumps. Any collected power-ups are no longer available in extended games. The four power-ups are:
Heart – eliminates obstacles within the next two jumps; good for two jumps
Horseshoe – eliminates obstacles within the next three jumps; good for three jumps
Balloon – carries the player past all remaining platforms into a waiting prize that is randomly multiplied 2X, 3X or 5X
Leprechaun Hat – eliminates one obstacle; only appears when all other power-ups have been collected.
A single-game constitutes five jumps, after which the player can choose to continue or collect his/her winnings and end the game.
